It takes about 15 minutes by bike to reach the ocean. To get to Koshigoe Beach, take Prefectural Route 304 (Koshigoe-Ofuna Line) straight from Nishi-Kamakura Station toward the coast. Once you see Enoshima, you’ll arrive at Koshigoe Point, which usually has small waves. From there, head toward Shichirigahama, pass through Komodo Cape, and the beach stretching out before you is Kamakura High School Beach.
Along Route 134, the Enoden train runs, and Kamakura High School Station, offering a panoramic view of the sea, is a famous tourist spot. The waves are usually soft and easy to ride, featuring the characteristic slow breaks of a reef break.
Above all, the location overlooking the land from the sea offers a sense of openness and satisfaction unique to surfers who come here.
